CSEA Endorses Gallo

Normally, CSEA endorsing a democrat would not be big news.  However, when there is a democrat primary, it is.

CSEA chose Gallo over Noble.  This is a big hit against Noble.

Also -- stay tuned -- the city has lost big money because of Noble's errors on a grant.  I will break this story soon.

UPDATE

CSEA has also endorsed Jeanette Provenzano.  This is big news.  Jim Noble has always had CSEA support.  Not this time.

In a democrat primary, CSEA support goes a long way.

Of course, CSEA would endorse Mayor Gallo. He ratified their contract and two others he had to deal with when he took office four years ago. The "kid" wouldn't know where to begin to deal with negotiations. Too much for him to comprehend, unless he called in Uncle Jim to try to handle. Even that would be laughable. Yes, CSEA got it right--they are backing a winner!!!

Starting to look like Hoffay won't be the next City Clerk which is very good news for the City of Kingston

Oooh...The Noble dynasty has taken a hit....No Jim or Steve CSEA Endorsement.... Rumor has it that Steve Noble is not that well liked around city hall by fellow employees. Karma!

in all the years uncle Jim was there he did nothing for anyone but him self... the only thing he`s good at is public serves announcement.

10:01, how does one person running for Mayor while his Uncle is on the common council a dynasty? Gallo's brother was mayor, his father was involved in politics as well. Wouldn't that also be a dynasty? You can hate on the Nobles for whatever reasons you like, but that can't be one of them. In cities across the world there have been and always will be family members and friends either holding or running for office or involved in political leadership.

12:14 and maybe he has a shot at some pension money as he has been on council for almost 14 years..??

CSEA denying their own member the endorsement is pretty harsh. Or pretty telling. Take your pick. Not good either way for young Mr. Noble.

2:28 Were they both holding an elected public office at the same time in the same city and same building (the Gallo's) If Steve Noble gets elected his Uncle Jim is the back up(spare) in case the Mayor S. Noble meets with an accident/incapacitated or is out of town during a city emergency. And then you have Julie Noble who is also front and center...She is her own dept. as environmental educator. A lot of family in one place at one time.... not a good idea.
