Mayor Gallo eliminated Steve Noble's job in the 2016 budget. The Alderman who have been solidly anti-Gallo basically stated that they will restore the job when they get the budget.
However, the Alderman at Large needs to be careful. If he advocates or even comments about this issue, he better bring his checkbook because that would be a clear conflict.

Jim Noble's main problem seems to be that he lied to the Ethics Board during the Brad Will hearings. City officials have attempted to hide the transcripts of that hearing, which reveal the details, based on "confidentiality" under the ethics code. However, Freedom of Information Law appeals have exploded that argument, and those transcripts will soon be forthcoming. http://docs.dos.ny.gov/coog/ftext/f7914.htm
Speaking of Brad Will, he apparently has NEVER filed any campaign finance disclosures. I wonder how many other City Council members are also scofflaws?...
I dont't think the "dummies" thought about this type of issue coming up. Thanks for re-enforcing the case.
I am seriously going to start calling them the Dumbocrats. Brad is once again on the hot seat. Headline in the Daily Freeman for another ethical violation issue.
The Mayor is spewing sour grapes still. What are other big cuts to the budget?
Richard,
I'm calling for the resignations of both Will and Noble because of their actions before, during, and after Will's hearing and findings of guilt. Will is again representing clients in front of City Boards, he is still claiming ignorance, and Noble's part in the violations. and then calling on the taxpayers to pay for Will's attorneys.

Cahill has been quite for some time now why is that?
If you mean "quiet", the answer is that I do not post just to post. I post when I have something to say.
kerfuffle: You can look at all of the council members campaign financial disclosures on the state website. or any other political candidate.
Speaking of Brad..he showed up at voting sites and gave all workers handling Dems $20 for lunch.we were told it was ok. Seems odd to me.
