It appears that Brad Will just does not care about the law.
The City Ethics Committee fined him $1000 for unethical behavior. He has not paid. He also has allegedly committed the same conduct yet again.
The Alderman at Large was ordered to issue a verbal and written reprimand. Not done.
Now, the Freeman has confirmed what I reported previously, i.e. that Brad Will listed his residence as Woodstock in an official legal document.
By law and legal precedent, i.e. the Burns case, he should be removed from office automatically. Will's reaction? He is not going to discuss it.
Does the law matter? Or is it irrelevant if you are part of the victorious left wing of the City Democrat Committee?
If a citizen breaks the law, can be or she just say the hell with it and ignore it without consequences?

He is part of the left wing democratic party and they do as will and so does Will. Nothing will ever become of this with Landi, Hoffay and Donaldson running the asluym.
And they talk about Albany... Starts here at home. Just a breeding ground with the democrats. If I was a Noble(Steve or Jim) I would want to get rid of this embarrassment. Good way to start his administration. Nothing has changed. Same game but just a younger player in charge with old pros pulling the strings. Will be curious to see how long they can keep blaming Gallo after he is gone. Gallo appointed them..Gallo appointed this..and etc. Put on your big boy pants Steve Noble and address this issue.
what about jimmy noble lien for him on the witness stand at that closed door meeting.
Oh just stop now. Gallo blamed everything on somebody else. The prior administration is all we heard for the last four years.
It's a lousy 75k a year. Foreman at DPW make that much.
You need to double the salary to entice qualified people to run
Need to have the political parties recruit new individuals to get involved and bring in new ideas. Also, wouldn't hurt to have them with a good moral compass(better vetting) and to run for altruistic reasons. Not to make it a career.....and term limits is crucial. Or conversely, as we are seeing on the national level, get people involved who are not necessary party loyalists & are not heavy into political maneuverings or mouth pieces. Make aldermanic races every 3 or 4 years. Gets to be expensive to run every two years which makes people hesitant to step into the arena. Just getting your feet wet when it is time to run again.
Based on Brad Will's attorney's explanation in the Freeman of why Boiceville address was given in bankruptcy proceedings..is that feasible or the norm in emergency filings? Or is he trying to cover Brad Will's butt? Making Will look good as a liar? To me it seems he is trying to play the system thru some type of loophole.
Will either is not a city resident or he knowingly and intentionally lied to a federal court. It is either one or the other.
Hope he lied to the federal courts. They don't fool around once they start to investigate. No way he could dance his way out of that. Severe consequences and no slap on the wrist. Lying to the City he gets a slap on wrist and loses his seat on council. Maybe a farewell letter from Jim Noble......
What about Rumor Blaber plans overthrow Sinagra? Who would you support the kid or q-tip assuming those are the two candidates and you had pick one. I know you'll say neither so answer the question. Does this also prove Blaber is not running the good fellows blog?
The idea of Blaber as GOP Chair is laughable. No way the GOP backs him. Sinagra is a joke, but even he will beat Blaber.
Secondly, Blaber runs the goodfellas blog. Him writing about himself in the 3rd person changes nothing.

As for who I would support, my answer is easy. I am not a Republican. I am a Conservative. I have no vote on the next Captain of the Titanic.

don`t forget len banardo is also running goodfellas blabber and len are joined at the hip. two of a kind ....
You realize there are enough vacancies for someone like him or John quigey to just over throw the party. I disagree w you Quigley or Blaber would be better stratigicly than Sinagra. Quigley preferable but Blaber is not to be under estimated, you can't kill the kid. If he runs that blog there are people in high positions that secretly talk to him for him to know all this stuff.
I have no problem with Quigley being Chair.
to 8:53 yes its len...
It's too Kingston focused to be Len.
Neither can be worse than last three Chairs Jacobs, McClean and Sinagra. The three have no idea how run an election. If not Blabes what about Scott DiMicco?
11:53 You have no idea.
11:46 : WHO??? Tells one how much he has been involved.... Sound bites Mr.DiMicco? Made several comments to Daily Freeman and then disappeared?
The Law does not matter for Brad Will or Charlie Landi
Update on Latest Rumors
I spoke with Tom Turco. He advises that while a change of enrollment form was received from Mr. Blaber, it was not received in time to actually change his enrollment until after the 2016 election.
As such, he will not be eligible to run for City GOP Chair in 2016.
This should put an end to this rumor.
I am sure they can just change the rules. They do it all the time.
thank you Rich...Either way he would not have been considered for a Republican chair. His mental health issues would have had him not even in the running along with his criminal background. I am sure the Republican party is not that desperate.
Plus no pay involved. and he needs a job with money. Slowly burning off friends willing to support him.
BTW..great news about Sheldon Silver..Just a start to clean the cesspool. Go Bharara!
Brad paid his fine, according to comptroller John Tuey, but only within the past week, Tuey said. That means the article was correct at the time it was published, and payment was made no earlier than Nov. 23rd, after the article came out exposing nonpayment. Please note the bankruptcy filing does not list Kingston as a creditor for the unpaid $1000, which eliminates federal protection and therefore forced him to pay, in order to keep the bankruptcy kosher. No opinion on the address issue, might be allowed under Chapter 13, dunno for sure. As long as he explains himself, and is only protecting an asset legally, no problem. Joe Difalco says he's filing further ethics charges against Brad for the October planning board flap. Might be a bigger fine, if convicted twice, but also possibly protected from paying by bankruptcy trustee and automatic stay.
